Local Creatures

I’ve been gearing up some wildlife photography, beginning with a neighbor’s yard ornament–a stone goose that changes outfits according to the seasons.

Thence to my backyard, which has been overrun by foxtail squirrels.

A couple of weeks back, I ventured to the site of what once was the coal mining camp of Wattis. Only residents nowadays are mule deer.

And from there, over the Wasatch Plateau to the small farming community of Milburn, where I got lucky!
