I LOVE A PARADE

Not the annual Days of ’47 Parade, but the East Carbon Community Daze Parade, which took place this past weekend in Sunnyside, Utah. I’m a native of the area, which wasn’t settled by Mormon pioneers who arrived pulling handcarts, but rather by coal miners pushing ore carts. And because “carbon” runs in my blood, I elected to shoot the thing in black and white.
